Since last November Hitachi ARG (Air Conditioning Refrigeration Group) is marketing the Set Free Modular FSXN range of outdoor units with ecological refrigerant R410a for multi-zone air conditioning installations, in combination with System Free direct expansion indoor units.
The new Set Free Modular FSXN range offers the market the ideal solution for commercial and residential applications with high demands for comfort, efficiency and quality, such as hotels, office buildings, hospitals, department stores and commercial spaces, etc., and has been manufactured according to the highest quality specifications.
The characteristics of the new FSXN series facilitate the work of locating and assembling the units in their final location by being conceived according to a modular design with which outdoor units of up to 54 HP (150,000 W of nominal cooling capacity) can be configured, from individual units of 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 HP, being able to service up to 64 indoor units with a single exterior combination, if required.
In addition, hitachi's new range allows for the possibility of conventional two-tube installations, with excellent performance levels and simplified installation. The advanced features of the range allow the installation to be designed with refrigeration lines of up to 1,000 m in total length, with routes of up to 165 m and branches of up to 90 m in length, making available to the designer an unparalleled flexibility in the design and arrangement of branches.
