Positive results at Mercofrio 2010

resultadospositivosenmercofrio2010Brazil. The 2010 version of Mercofrio held in October at the Fiergs Events Center in Porto Alegre presented a positive balance of attendance and participation by the public and exhibiting companies, which presented their main innovations and technologies applied to products or services, in addition to eleven conferences with topics of great importance for the refrigeration segments, air conditioning, heating and ventilation.

Companies from Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná and São Paulo presented equipment such as that of a model used in wastewater treatment. The part is capable of eliminating 99% of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), offering up to a 40% reduction in reactor volume and up to 55% less in energy consumption compared to conventional process ventilation systems.

The novelty this year was the realization of ExpoAcabamento, the fair of finishing materials, in parallel with Mercofrio, a change that represented an increase in attendance, in addition to enriching the topics presented during the fair, as explained by the president of the Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation of Southern Brazil -ASBRAV in Portuguese-, Sergio Helfensteller.

Approximately 140 registrations were made daily on the four days of the event and two short courses for designer engineers, architects, technical consultants, installers, entrepreneurs and other professionals.
