Climastar presents an innovative temperature control system that increases the energy efficiency of heating

CLIMASTAR CLIMASTAR, manufacturer of low consumption air conditioning, presents a new generation of electronics aimed at boosting energy efficiency in electric heating.

The central axis of this new electronics is CLIMASTAR HCC (Heating Cruise Control), a novel cruise temperature control system that improves the precision and increases the energy efficiency of the radiators and inertial towel rails manufactured by this company.

Based on the same principle used by car cruise control systems, CLIMASTAR HCC guarantees a comfortable temperature with minimal energy consumption. Its operation is as follows:

  1. This system uses maximum power in the ignition, to reach the setpoint temperature as soon as possible.
  2. Once reached, CLIMASTAR HCC performs a functional adjustment of the resistance to maintain the comfort temperature using only the strictly necessary power. This control system allows to reduce energy consumption, without giving up a comfortable temperature.
  3. Finally, CLIMASTAR HCC optimizes the electrical power contracted in a home. In this way, it avoids the contracting of additional power or the change of electrical installation.

This is possible thanks to the programming system, which allows sequencing the start of the radiators and towel rails at different times. In addition, the temperature control system allows the simultaneous operation of several radiators and towel rails, by using only the necessary power to maintain the comfort temperature in each room.

Increased savings
The energy efficiency achieved by the new CLIMASTAR HCC is increased with the combination of this system with the Dual Kherr®, a material patented by CLIMASTAR and awarded the Gold Alpha Award for Innovation for its ability to reduce consumption in heating systems.

The Dual Kherr ® stands out for its high thermal inertia, derived from its extraordinary capacity for accumulation and heat transmission. Combining the advantages of this material and the new HCC electronics, THE CLIMASTAR heating enhances its speed when it comes to reaching the comfort temperature and increases energy efficiency, since it maintains a comfortable temperature, for a long period of time and with the lowest possible consumption.
