Saunier Duval Clima offers those affected by the ERE of Vitoria to join the social plan individually

The company Saunier Duval Clima has offered the workers affected by the Company Regulation File (ERE) of the Vitoria plant to benefit "individually" from the social plan offered to the workforce, after the Works Council has transferred this Wednesday its rejection of the final offer.

The company, dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of air conditioning equipment, has affirmed in a statement that workers affected by the ERE can benefit from this social plan individually until October 15.

Saunier Duval Clima has reported that the Works Council has shown its "rejection" of the final offer presented by the management on October 1. As he explained, as a result of this rejection, the closing of the consultation period of the ERE without agreement has been signed.

However, the company has decided to reduce the number of workers affected from 75 to 66 and maintain the same conditions for those workers finally affected who join individually in the next 48 hours.

These conditions consist of a gross compensation of 55 days of salary per year of service, guaranteeing a minimum amount of compensation of 20,000 euros. In addition, it is allowed to anticipate the date of departure of workers, "as long as this does not harm the calendar of end of production."

On the other hand, relocation service is offered through the specialized company MOA BPI. This offer will be valid until 2:00 p.m. next Friday, October 15. Any worker affected by the ERE can join it in the human resources department of the Júndiz plant.

Once the accession period has expired, the company will inform the labor authority of the closure of the consultation period and the individual accessions that have occurred.
