Mexico. An ecological air conditioning system, which uses half the electrical energy of conventional equipment and the rest is obtained from sunlight, was developed by Mexican specialists from the Faculty of Higher Studies Aragon of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).This model works with a mixture of water and lithium bromide, in this case, the water acts as a coolant and cools up to five degrees Celsius.
Eco-friendly air conditioning works because the solar energy concentrator and high-efficiency flat collector take advantage of sunlight, and provide heat energy.
The flat collector captures the energy of the sun and heats the water to 80º C, which is sent to the generator where the water and lithium bromide are separated, the liquid evaporates, from there it passes through a condenser that makes it liquid, and it becomes cold, and it recirculates through a coil to, with the fan, cool the place.
With this solution you can reduce electricity consumption by up to 20%.
