The proposal of new strategies to take care of the environment was the result of the fourth energy efficiency summit organized by AHRI, the Institute of Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration, and the American Council for an Efficient Energy Economy, ACEEE.The event brought together environmental groups and industry actors to jointly address the impact of energy and environmental policies on america's future.
For two days participants attended lectures given by speakers and industry experts, who spoke of their knowledge and understanding of energy and the environment. Attendees also participated in a forum, which focused its discussion around different topics such as chiller legislation, how to replace the installed base in heating and air conditioning equipment early and the future of refrigerants.
