United States. The Energy Department announced that the country has 352 million barrels of crude, after they increased reserves by 2.5 million barrels as of Aug. 12. The volume of oil today exceeds by 18.7% the amount existing in the same period of 2008.Heating oil reserves grew 0.5% to 800,000 barrels to 162.3 million barrels. The price of such fuel, to be delivered in September, rose 0.47 cents to $1.9164 per gallon.
