SODECA launches Plug Fan centrifugal fans with IE5 motors to maximize energy efficiency

Spain. The company SODECA presented its new line of high-efficiency centrifugal fans type Plug Fan PFA/EC, designed to offer superior aerodynamic performance with reduced energy consumption, in line with the growing demands for sustainability in ventilation systems.

In a context where energy efficiency has become a key factor in the design of HVAC solutions, the company's new proposal aims to optimize electricity consumption, improve system performance and ensure reliable operation. The equipment stands out for its compact design, ease of installation and maintenance, as well as its robustness and durability.

One of the differentiating elements of this series is the incorporation of an advanced design turbine, which optimizes aerodynamic performance and reduces energy losses. Added to this is an improved blade profile that allows a more efficient and stable airflow, even in demanding applications with high flow rates and high pressures.

Focus on efficiency and sustainability

Plug Fan PFA/EC fans have been developed to offer efficient solutions in ventilation systems that demand high performance. Among their main benefits are the reduction of energy costs, balanced ventilation, lower environmental impact, low noise level and ease of maintenance thanks to their centralized installation.

In addition, its galvanized steel sheet construction provides high mechanical strength and corrosion protection, ensuring longer service life and reliable operation.

IE5 motors and EC technology

The new line integrates engines with EC (Electronically Commutated) technology, developed to achieve high levels of energy efficiency and contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions. These motors allow precise control of the air flow, quiet operation and optimal performance in various operating conditions.

According to the company, IE5-rated motors can reduce energy losses by up to 40% compared to previous technologies such as IE3 motors, consolidating themselves as a key alternative for projects seeking efficiency and sustainability.

With this launch, SODECA reaffirms its commitment to innovation and the development of solutions aimed at energy saving, respect for the environment and the evolution towards a more sustainable model in the ventilation industry.
