International. Hisense strengthens its presence in the North American HVAC market with an expanded portfolio of residential, light commercial and large-scale solutions designed to respond to real-world conditions of installation, energy efficiency and operation in extreme climates.
The company thus consolidates a decade of continuous development in the region, supported by its global expertise in inverter technology and large-scale manufacturing.
Hisense's latest proposition encompasses ducted, ductless, packaged, VRF, and air-to-water solutions, with a common focus: application flexibility, compatibility with existing infrastructure, and reliable performance in both extreme cold and high temperatures.
Residential and light commercial systems with a focus on efficiency and adaptability
Within its residential and light commercial offering, Hisense expands the HD series of universal ducted systems, which includes the Hi-PRO HD, Hi-ULTRA HD and Hi-EDGE HD platforms. These equipment achieve efficiencies of up to 20 SEER2, with heating capability in temperatures down to -13°F and continuous cooling in environments up to 125°F. Their compact side-discharge design, 24V controls, and compatibility with existing coils, furnaces, and refrigerant lines make them a practical alternative for replacement projects and new installations.
In the ductless segment, the manufacturer offers single-zone and multi-zone systems with efficiencies up to 32 SEER2, heating operation down to -22°F, and multiple indoor unit configurations, such as wall-mount, slim duct, cassette, console, and air handler. These solutions integrate technologies such as FrostClean™, Wi-Fi connectivity as standard, safety logic for A2L refrigerants, and quiet operation using inverter compressors.
The Hi-MULTI system allows up to five indoor units to be connected to a single outdoor unit, facilitating the integral air conditioning of homes. For its part, Hi-UNI is positioned as a universal 1:1 solution aimed at simplifying replacements, by allowing the combination of a single capacitor with different options of indoor units.
Packaged Solutions and Commercial Applications
For larger capacity applications, Hisense incorporates the Hi-PAK Inverter Packaged line, designed for systems from 2 to 5 tons, with ENERGY STAR® certification, compact format and cold weather operation capability. The design seeks to reduce installation times and facilitate service and maintenance tasks, key factors for its adoption in different markets.
In the commercial field, the company continues to develop VRF and air-to-water solutions focused on energy efficiency and advanced control. The Hi-COMFORT Air + Water system integrates air conditioning and domestic hot water production through heat recovery, maintaining its heating capacity up to 5°F from a single outdoor unit. VRF platforms include heat recovery options, DOAS support, and a wide variety of indoor units for scalable commercial applications.
Global scale and regional support
With more than 28 years of experience in inverter technology, nine generations of development, and a global production capacity of more than 26 million HVAC units per year, Hisense brings its industrial scale and innovation capabilities to the North American market. The strategy is complemented by training programs, specialized technical support, extended warranties and schemes aimed at contractors and distributors.
In parallel, the company expands its global visibility by participating as an Official Sponsor of the 2026™ FIFA World Cup, reinforcing its positioning as a brand focused on performance, innovation and trust.
