Brazil. Elgin announced the appointment of Priscila Baioco as the new commercial director of the Refrigeration Unit for Latin America, effective this month. The executive assumes the position with the mission of promoting a stage of sustainable expansion, greater operational efficiency and a closer relationship with the brand's partners in the region.
The company also confirmed the departure of Omar Martins Aguilar, who is retiring after 39 years with the company. During his career, Aguilar played a key role in the growth of the business, channel structuring and positioning of Elgin in the commercial refrigeration market.

Trajectory of the new director
With more than 25 years of experience in the AVAC-R sector, Priscila Baioco has led commercial operations and expansion projects in international companies such as Armacell and Armstrong Fluid Technology. His profile combines customer focus, strategic management and adaptation to diverse markets.
Under his leadership, Elgin will base its regional strategy on three pillars:
- Portfolio aligned to the needs of each country, with flexible and competitive solutions.
- Improved shopping experience, with more agile, consultative, and customer-centric processes.
- Sustained generation of value, focused on competitiveness, innovation and new business opportunities for partners.

The company stressed that this move is part of the strengthening of its commercial structure in Latin America, with the aim of offering closer attention, better understanding the particularities of each market and moving towards a vision of joint growth.
