United States. Greenheck announced the addition of the Model RT-40 to its rooftop unit (RTU) portfolio, expanding HVAC solutions with capacities from 6.5 to 10 tons of packaged DX cooling, 1,200 to 5,000 cfm of airflow, and 100 to 300 mbh of indirect gas heating.
With this addition, the RT model lineup, which already included the RT-70 and RT-120, offers an airflow range of up to 13,000 cfm, establishing itself as a comprehensive choice for temperature and humidity control in commercial and industrial applications.
The RT Series comes standard with high-performance features such as inverter scroll compressors for maximum part-load efficiency, modulated direct-drive fans for variable air volume (VAV) systems, and EC motors in condenser fans that reduce energy consumption by regulating pressure.
Additional options include:
- All-electric air source heat pumps for heating and cooling.
- Modulating hot gas reheat (HGRH) to cool and dehumidify without overcooling.
- Modulating forced extraction to maintain space pressure.
- Modulating gas ovens for precise temperature control without on/off cycles.
