International. On June 26, the globalrefrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industry joins once again to celebrate World Refrigeration Day 2025, a key date to highlight the importance of these technologies in modern life.
This year, the central theme is "Cool Skills", a campaign that pays tribute to the diversity of talents that make the operation and evolution of the sector possible. From technicians, engineers, and researchers, to trainers and innovators, the initiative seeks to make visible the skills that keep essential systems for food preservation, health care, and thermal comfort in place, while promoting more sustainable practices around the world.
With a broad and inclusive approach, Cool Skills invites each person, organization or region to join the campaign by adapting the message to their local reality. Whether it's highlighting technical training programs, career paths, environmental solutions, or quality of life improvements, there's room for every story under this motto.
- How to participate?
Send [email protected] a photo with your hands outstretched in front, palms up and down, similar to the example images attached. These photos will be transformed with the WRD logo and themed effects such as ice or flames. In the subject line make sure to write "Cool Skills 2025"
