This presentation will address current trends in refrigerants for the HVAC industry, with a focus on next-generation solutions based on Solstice® technology, designed to deliver a lower environmental impact without compromising performance. Its applications in different segments such as commercial air conditioning, data centers and retrofit projects will be explored, highlighting the benefits in energy efficiency and consumption reduction compared to traditional technologies. Likewise, it will be presented how these solutions have been evaluated and specified by the main HVAC equipment manufacturers (OEMs), consolidating themselves as viable alternatives to comply with environmental regulations and performance requirements in the current market. From a technical-commercial perspective, key criteria for the selection of refrigerants and implementation experiences in Latin America will be shared, facilitating decision-making towards a sustainable and efficient transition.
