Miami. Energy efficiency, decarbonization, and technological transformation will be the focus of the academic program of RefriAméricas 2026, an event that will take place on July 29 and 30 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The congress will bring together professionals from Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Europe to discuss the main trends that are redefining the HVAC/R industry.
For two days, manufacturers, contractors, engineers, consultants and specialists will be able to participate in more than 25 technical conferences, panels and workshops focused on responding to the technological, regulatory and sustainability challenges currently facing the sector.
Under the slogan "Efficiency, decarbonization and technological transformation in HVAC/R", the academic agenda will address topics such as artificial intelligence applied to HVAC systems, smart building automation, the transition to refrigerants with low environmental impact, indoor air quality, energy efficiency, the cold chain, cybersecurity in automation systems, facility design, international regulations and new business models oriented towards sustainability.
The program will feature the participation of experts from the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, who will share experiences and success stories aimed at the implementation of innovative solutions in commercial, industrial and institutional projects.

In addition to the conferences, the event will include training workshops, a trade show with leading companies in the industry, guided tours, networking spaces and the CALA AWARDS 2026 ceremony, where the most outstanding projects in the HVAC and refrigeration sector in Latin America and the Caribbean will be recognized.
