Honduras. The Weston company continues its expansion in Central America following the recent opening of a modern supermarket in Honduras, equipped with state-of-the-art commercial refrigeration solutions.
This new establishment, with an area of 500 m², marks a significant advance in the country's commercial offer.
The project was developed under the turnkey modality by Weston in alliance with the firm Tecniservicios. In addition to moving an existing store to a new space, innovative technologies were incorporated that optimize the operation, reduce energy consumption and improve the customer experience.
Among the main equipment installed are:
- Atlas murals with doors, which allow energy savings of up to 30%.
- Open walls for fresh produce (Fruver), which ensure uniform cooling.
- Self-contained islands with natural refrigerant R-290 and automatic defrosting system.
- Kogui display cabinets with mixed design that offer self-service and personalized attention.
- Walk-in coolers with shelves and doors that minimize fogging.
- Compact refrigeration units with low noise level.
- Adaptable payment stations according to daily demand.
The project reaffirms the concept of "one-stop-shop" promoted by Weston, in which customers can access comprehensive solutions directly from the factory, including design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance. This strategy allows for more efficient and personalized execution, with a single supplier responsible for the entire process.
