Mexico. After passing several calorimetry tests, Danfoss demonstrated that it complies with the guidelines established by the Official Mexican Standard NOM-012-ENER-2019, 'Energy Efficiency of Condensing and Evaporating Units for Refrigeration'.
The company reacted by stating that this regulation guarantees that the end user has efficient, quality systems, and guarantees savings in energy costs. In addition, Danfoss indicated that NOM-012 prevents unfair competition and the commercialization of inefficient equipment, thus contributing to the preservation of energy resources.
From now on, equipment that has the NOM will have a label affixed or placed on the product or packaging, as in the case of Danfoss Condensing Units and Evaporators.
In this way, the manufacturer extended an invitation to buyers to identify the yellow label at the time of purchase, in order to obtain cost savings for their projects and customers.
"When you purchase condensing units, you guarantee energy efficiency, savings in energy billing, implementation of innovative and quality technology, as well as care for the environment and reliable and durable solutions that have up to two years of warranty," said Danfoss spokespersons, who specified that these solutions are already available in more than 500 points of sale in Mexico.
