Full Gauge solutions installed in supermarket chain

Full Gauge

Argentina. Prono Ingeniería carried out a food refrigeration installation in the J.K. Kilgelmann supermarkets in Esperanza and in the Lavaisse branch in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina.

The food refrigeration plant is the main component of the facility, from which a network of copper pipes is developed that distribute the refrigerant gas to the displays and cold rooms dispersed in the premises for the refrigeration of all the food sold there.

For the Esperanza and Lavaisse facilities, refrigeration plants were installed with digital technology with variable operation that allow high performance and low electricity consumption, thus achieving energy savings of 30% compared to a traditional power plant. The plant is equipped with advanced electronic devices that provide diagnostic, protection and control capabilities.

To accompany the energy-saving concept, VX-1025E Full Gauge Controls electronic expansion valves were installed for exact temperature control appropriate to the needs of each food in the different chambers and displays.

These valves are expected to save 25% energy compared to conventional systems that use thermostatic expansion valves and individual controllers for each chamber and display.

The system is complemented by a Conv 32 control interface, also from Full Gauge Controls, for the management of the installation's compressors via the Internet, visualizing the temperatures and status of each controller, making it possible to modify parameters and send commands.

Sitrad Pro software was developed by Full Gauge Controls so that everyone can enjoy its benefits without the need for further computer skills. It meets the highest demands of the market.

30 years of experience
The engineering firm carried out its first food refrigeration installation in 1993 with a plant developed in its Engineering department and manufactured in its own workshop, with Carrier motor compressors and all the technological advances available at that time.

During its history, different supermarket firms in the region have commissioned Prono Ingeniería to install food refrigeration plants in more than 20 branches.
