International. Known as TINA (Total Integrated Low Floor Drive), the new means of transport was manufactured by the Swiss company Stadler, under completely new standards in terms of comfort and performance for travelers.
The TINA has compressors that use CO2 as a natural refrigerant and are powered by the transcritical CD4 range of Officine Mario Dorin Spa. This new technology allows the tram to meet cooling as well as heating needs, with a footprint significantly lower than that of conventional vehicles.

Hertozzi Compresores y Refrigeración is the authorized distributor of the Dorin brand in Mexico and will be responsible for presenting the new range of CD4 compressors to the HVAC industry, gathered in about two weeks in the Federal District.
Through a statement, the company said that thanks to CD4 compressors, "public transport becomes a sustainable and ecological means of transport, which translates into less reduction of the ozone layer, as well as less global warming."
Hertozzi will occupy booth 1236 of the Citibanamex Convention and Exhibition Center.
About CD4
The Dorin CD4 compressor has two displacements from 4.34 m3/h to 11.72 m3/h and greater energy efficiency. The manufacturer has developed the CD4 compressor model as part of the CD range.
Among the advantages they offer, Hertozzi points to their patented design, extra robust drive gear, multilayer self-lubricating bearing design, quiet operation and CFD modeling to optimize gas flow.
The distributor further noted that, depending on the specific application, versions H, M or B of the CD4 compressor can be used.
The CD-H is a single-stage compressor, capable of operating in transcritical conditions. It is suitable for applications in heat pumps, commercial refrigeration (MV), refrigerated transport and HVAC systems (reversible and non-reversible).
For its part, the CD-M compressor is a single-stage compressor, also capable of operating under transcritical conditions. However, it is best suited for commercial refrigeration (MT) and refrigerated transport tasks.
Finally, the CD-B compressor offers good performance in booster or cascade applications, with a high Pss value and better safety margins in the LT system during extended shutdowns.
