How was the selection process?
A panel of judges, composed of HVAC/R experts, rigorously evaluated the submitted entries and recognized the work of four finalists, namely: MultiFRIO (Costa Rica), Dismec S.A.S. (Colombia), Flutec (Mexico) and Clima Ideal (Costa Rica).

Finally, after an open vote, the award was presented to Clima Ideal in recognition of its cutting-edge engineering, efficient use of resources and focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

After the verdict was announced, Max Jaramillo, director of Latin Press, creator of the CALA AWARDS brand, said: "We want to thank and congratulate the company Clima Ideal de Costa Rica and its engineering manager, William Celin Sánchez, for carrying out this project. Our goal is to recognize the great works and projects of Latin America."

In turn, the academic director of Refriaméricas, Duván Chaverra, congratulated the winning company, referring to the qualities of its proposal: "It is a very interesting project that had many logistical and installation challenges in post pandemic when there were problems with the supply chain. However, they were able to pull off an excellent result."
