Costa Rica. Refrimundo S.A. recently announced the launch of the Rothemberger Werkzeuge GmbH brand in the Central American country. The distribution agreement between both companies allows the national market to access a greater offer of specialized equipment for the realization of HVAC projects.
"We look forward to a successful long-term collaboration with Refrimundo. We show tools and machines such as the Romax Compact TT press, the Robend 4,000 E bending machine and the Roairvac CL vacuum pump to dealers and customers," said Helmuth Strahl, Key Account Manager for Latin America at Rothemberger.
For his part, the general manager of Refrimundo, Alberto Jara Villalobos, said that "the Costa Rican market can be sure that in Refrimundo we once again aim for a brand of prestige and worldwide recognition, as is our custom. Rothenberger excels at manufacturing high-quality tools that offer the guarantees and durability that any air conditioning specialist needs to perform at their best."
Previous approach
According to the general manager of Refrimundo, the initial contacts between his company and Rothenberger occurred about 3 years ago, when he started the commercial distribution of a pressing tool intended for the installation of Maxi Pro.
"Last year, in Refriaméricas, there was a negotiation between both parties thanks to which it was possible to agree on the introduction of the entire Rothenberger line for air conditioning in the Costa Rican market," explained Jara Villalobos.
