Panama. The company Climatizadora SA is now part of the Energy Efficiency Movement.
The movement, also known as the EEM, is part of the ABB Corporation, an engineering company that defines itself as a leading global leader in electrification and automation "that stimulates the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive and sustainable future”.
Climatizadora, due to being registered for this project, assured that it is installing photovoltaic panels in its office building. "It will be a grid-connected facility with excess generation so, at least initially, it will be a net exporter." Likewise, the company confirmed that it will include more electric vehicles to its fleet that will be recharged with clean energy, and that they are currently improving the insulation of the roof to reduce their energy consumption.
"As an important part of our daily business we are improving the energy efficiency of our customers' HVAC systems with the implementation of VFDs, high-efficiency motors, and improved end-to-end control systems."
