Colombia. Last Friday, October 8, the fourth year of the SODECA COLOMBIA project was celebrated, where the Ambassador of Spain, Marcos Gómez, participated in the company of the commercial counselor, Alicia Montalvo, the mayor in charge of the Municipality of Mosquera, Mario Correa and some of the company's clients: MOTA ENGIL, BEGOM, WASVELT INDUSTRIES, ECOLOGY AND CONSTRUCTIONS and AIRE CARIBE.
It is worth noting that SODECA has participated in the main projects of shopping centers both in Colombia and in Latin America in general, betting on energy efficiency, through state-of-the-art software in simulation by computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
One of the most relevant is the Gran Plaza El Ensueño Shopping Center (Bogotá, 2018): a new mall with a potential audience of 1.34 million inhabitants in the country's capital. He has also been part of the ventilation of parking lots of the Multiplaza Bogotá Shopping Center, the ventilation for the Colsubsidio Clinic (Bogotá, 2021) and the ventilation in general for the Viva Envigado Shopping Center (Medellín, 2018).
Other important projects are those related to the health sector, hotels, but also the industrial sector. Some of the most emblematic in the manufacture and supply of equipment are: The New Santa Matilde Hospital (Madrid, Cundinamarca; 2021), a renovated health infrastructure, level 2, with more than 10,000 m2 in which equipment has been installed to comply with the general ventilation of the hospital and specifically areas with high hospital requirements.
Also, among the highlights is the ventilation project in general for the Hotel Sofitel Barú Calablanca Barú (Isla Barú Cartagena, 2021), the management of fumes and carbon monoxide of the parking lot of the Grand Hyatt Bogotá Hotel (Bogotá, 2018). In the industrial sector, SODECA has supplied solutions for the filtration of lead fumes in smelting furnaces used for production in relevant battery factories in Barranquilla and Palmira Colombia (2018-2019).
Finally, at the head of SODECA COLOMBIA, the Manager Eng. Luisa Stella Prieto García, The Eng. Miguel Ángel Prieto García and partner, The Eng. Gustavo Prieto Rodríguez, together with all his commercial and work team, thank the participation and company to this celebration of the anniversary of this business project.
