Lennox launches new package unit with Indoor Air Quality system

Ultimate IAQLatin America. Lennox introduces the Ultimate IAQ System, a package-type unit that allows businesses to operate with quality indoor air. Using a combination of MERV 16 filters and UVC Germicidal Lamp, this system has been tested by third parties to demonstrate a Unique Efficiency Rate of 95% [3] with a virus reduction rate of 70% [4] after five minutes and a 99% reduction after 30 minutes.

The Ultimate IAQ system uses a variety of factory-integrated technologies to encourage better air in commercial spaces. The MERV 16 Filter removes 95% of particles up to .3 microns, the industry's first for light commercial package units.

Factory-installed UVC lights focus on different viruses, bacteria and mold spores, treating the interior surfaces of the unit. In addition to these purification technologies, the Ultimate IAQ system also uses Humiditrol™+ to remove excessive moisture from indoor spaces and maintain year-round comfort for both employees and customers. The Ultimate IAQ system can be equipped to the new Model L package from the factory, with field installation options for other Lennox package models.
