International. Carrier has added a number of new capabilities to its Carrier Chillers mobile app, which allows consulting engineers and facilities to select chillers more quickly and easily.
Using cloud technology, the app is automatically updated and in just three steps users can get key technical data and product features for the brand's air- and water-cooled chillers.
"Leveraging recent advances in technology, we have enhanced the functionality of the Carrier Chillers mobile app, simplifying the selection of the chiller they need with our customers in real time," said Chris Opie, vice president of product marketing and platform strategy. "The updated technology can also reduce search and lead time, making using it an even better experience."
The Carrier Chiller app allows HVAC design and systems engineers to enter the required capacity along with a chiller and compression type and then receive key technical data and product features for units that meet those specific requirements. By entering their zip code from any screen, users can also connect with a local Carrier expert for more information and sales support. This updated app also provides:
- Ability to find and contact your local sales office from any screen
- Additional cooler details including:
- streaming product videos
- links to product pages on the company's website
- a link to information related to the U.S. government-sponsored GSA Proving
