Venezuela. Empresas Polar announced the investment in a new fruit refrigeration system and acquired a high-tech freezing line, to increase the production of its brands.
The operation of this new machinery had a cost for the organization more than 65 million bolivars (about US $ 10 million) and allows the proper and quality processing of fruits.
The new high-tech individual freezing line is installed at Kefresa's, one of MiGurt's suppliers.
They also took on the challenge of becoming a supplier of hydroponic strawberries grown in greenhouses, and pineapples grown and processed especially for their products.
In addition to the investment in technology and generation of new sources of work, through the Danac Foundation (Foundation for Agricultural Research of Polar Companies) Kefresa's was advised for the establishment of trials for the determination of strawberry varieties suitable for the needs of the concentrated feed.
