International. The company of lubrication products for air conditioning and refrigeration, Shrieve Products International participated in the 2014 Open Day in Business Edge (UK) in an update of the technologies available in the sector.
Shrieve Products International is the European subsidiary of Shrieve Chemical Company, with headquarters in Houston, Texas (USA) and active in the United States, United Kingdom, China, Brazil and India.
At the event, the company made a presentation on the benefits derived from the use of Lubrication Enhancers in low temperature refrigeration equipment.
The presentation, entitled "The success of Lubrication Enhancers in saving energy and maintenance costs: an update for low temperature installations", was carried out by Manuel Muñoz Alonso, Industrial Chemist with a long experience in the HVAC/R sector.
The data provided showed that the addition of Lubrication Enhancers to a piece of equipment helps reduce friction in the compressor and improves the heat transmission coefficient in the exchangers. In this way, a reduction in energy consumption and greater durability of the compressor is obtained, increasing its useful life. The data was collected from various equipment of different models, from low-temperature installations in Spain to a Chiller in Mexico City. Benefits
