Colombia. A new company seeks to conquer the Latin American territory by recently installing an office in the city of Bogotá. This is Hitema, an Italian manufacturer of chillers.
"Since we started Hitema's production activity in Italy, we have always had export targets. We start in Europe, we continue with Russia and then we enter the North American market. The next natural market is Latin America, where after a year studying the area, we believe we can bring technological improvements that will be well received by consumers," said Cristian Rincón, sales director for Colombia.
The Italian company is also considering the possibility of installing a production plant in the region to supply the markets of North, Central and South America.
"Our line of chillers ranges from 0.3 ton refrigerators to 600 tons, with chillers condensed by air, by water, Free Cooling systems, Inverter Technology for both compressors and fans, Adiabatic Systems to improve the performance of condensers, Economizer System (subcooling), totally ecological gases for each type of application, among others," Rincón explained.
