In the new facilities of the Hospital de Navarra, the main medical center in Pamplona, a high energy efficiency air conditioning system was installed from the company specialized in HVAC solutions, Carrier Corp., which will provide greater comfort and benefit for the users of the Spanish institution.In Hall C of the hospital center, two AquaForce 30XA air-water screw coolers and a 30RB Aquasnap air-water cooler with Puron coolant were placed, with a total power of 1,918 Kw.
These devices are certified class "A" in the energy efficiency classification of the European Committee of Manufacturers of Ventilation and Refrigeration Equipment -Eurovent-, with an energy efficiency index -EER, in English-, of 3.20 kW / kW and a low noise level, suitable for the hospital environment, thanks to the fourth generation Flying Bird fans and the encapsulation of screw compressors.
It should be noted that these units work with the refrigerant R410A that is not harmful to the ozone layer, with a significant reduction in environmental impact.
