. A management and measurement system that is part of a global energy efficiency program, which allows savings of up to 10% of energy in the production of some plants and in companies that seek to improve the use of this in their factories by 2012, was developed by Bayer Material Science in conjunction with Bayer Technology Services and Bayer Business Services.According to the German Society for the Certification of Delivery Systems (DQS), Bayer Material Science increased its level with this solution, known as "STRUCTese®," which is part of Bayer's work to reduce specific greenhouse gas emissions per metric ton of product sold worldwide, by 25 percent by 2020.
The management solution enables the systematic identification and control of potential savings in energy consumption, logistics processes and greenhouse gas emissions resulting in factories. The system integrates all the necessary processes in the organization and provides the updated performance indicators, providing a minute-per-minute record.
