USA USA The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) announced the retirement in June of this year of its executive director, Jack Klimp. In addition, it will restructure its task force to strengthen the partnership and fulfill the mission of achieving excellence in standards, certification and policy advocacy.Stephen R. Yurek will continue as president of the association, with the support of Joe Mattingly (general counsel and corporate secretary), Stephanie Murphy (financial operations, affiliations and administration), Bill Tritsis (certification) and Henry Hwong (standards, product sector services, statistical programs). Francis Dietz will be in charge of public relations, boards and education. David Calabrese will continue to be in charge of governmental, policy and international affairs, with assistance from Karim Amrane in normative activities, Don Davis in government affairs and Jim Walters in international affairs.
The positions of executive vice president, vice president, public affairs, as well as five other positions, were eliminated in the restructuring.
