USA. USA Multistack, manufacturer of modular refrigerators, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. In 1989, Bill Bast, Dick Campbell and Monte Holman teamed up to form Multistack Inc. A year later they revolutionized the water cooler market by offering smaller modular units, which could be connected to form a much larger machine, without the need to demolish or use a crane for installation.
In 2006, Multistack moved to Sparta, Wisconsin, to a new building equipped with the latest technology. Although Multistack still manufactures modular refrigerators, it also offers dedicated refrigerators with heat recovery, heat pumps, and a new flooded refrigerator design, from 120 to 600 tons that uses MagLev™ technologies.
In addition, its eco-friendly alternatives, ranging from eco-friendly refrigerants to fossil-free heating units, make Multistack a company bent on creating environmental awareness in all facets of the business.
