International. José Luis Sánchez assumed since February 1 the position as president and leader for DuPont Andean Region, succeeding Melquiades Pulido, who retired from the organization after 37 years of service dedicated to this company.
José Luis is now in charge of leading the fulfillment of the company's objectives. He has 28 years of professional experience in various transnational companies, and an extensive career within DuPont – 17 years of his professional career. Within the Organization he has focused on the areas of Sales and Marketing, being responsible for new business development, strategic planning, product launches and vertiginous growth in sales. In 2011 he was appointed General Manager of the Business Unit of DuPont Nutrition and Health, Andean Region, and today he additionally has responsibility for the leadership of the company in the Region.
In his academic preparation, the executive has since 1986 the title of Business Administrator from the Javeriana University in Bogotá, has a specialization in Marketing at the Universidad de los Andes and postgraduate studies at the Wharton Business School, United States and INSEAD in France.
