Argentina. Oscar Moreno is the new president of Ashrae Argentina Chapter for the period 2014 - 2015, replacing outgoing President Walter Silva.
Oscar Moreno has a career of more than 40 years in the industry, in which he began in LixKlett until now having his own company.
"the goal during this new period is to make a difference in the dissemination of progress and improvements in the field of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration, whether commercial or domestic industries, and not only in theory, but also by putting that premise into practice with the technical and scientific knowledge of the members of the Argentine Chapter, "- Moreno said.
In addition, the new president added that he will reinforce the trainings focused on professionals having a greater ecological awareness.
"Another of my objectives for this new stage is to be able to add the new generations of young engineers, technicians and scientists who, with their fresh and ingenious ideas, help us to be part of the solution for the energy problem and to design better environments. Unlike the academic training we received in the past, today's young people have a great advantage: from an early age they were taught to recycle, to take care of non-renewable resources, to think more about the environment of their present and improve it for their future".
The new Ashrae Argentina team is complemented by Miguel Prosianiuk (Member), Esteban Baccini (President-Elect), Paula Hernández (Member), Diego Simondi (Member), Walter Silva (Vice President) and Guillermo Massucco (Secretary) and Eduardo Conghos (Treasurer).
