Expofrío Peru 2025: innovation, sustainability and HVACR leadership in the heart of Lima

Peru. With more than two decades of history, Expofrío Peru is preparing to celebrate its most ambitious edition to date. The event will be held on October 23 and 24, 2025 at the Sheraton Lima Hotel & Convention Center, bringing together the most important players in the air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and automation (HVACR) industry.

The event will have the institutional support of key entities such as the Chilean Chamber of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning A.G., ATEAAR, GBCpe, ACAIRE and ABRAVA, confirming Expofrío as an axis of regional integration for the development of the sector.

The fair projects an attendance of more than 3,000 professional visitors and the presence of 80 exhibition stands, with companies from at least 12 countries, strengthening its role as a key platform for technical, commercial and academic exchange in the Andean region.

The 2024 edition marked a turning point, with 2,389 visitors and the participation of 47 exhibiting companies, including 23 international ones. Events such as the commemoration of Daikin's global centenary and its tenth anniversary in Peru reflected the impact of the meeting on the regional market.

Heading towards 2025, the Organizing Committee – made up of technical specialists, union leaders and entrepreneurs – has outlined a strategy focused on high-level content, global alliances and spaces for professional recognition.

International Congress
The Expofrío 2025 International Congress will feature thematic blocks led by experts, focused on the industry's most pressing challenges:

  • Indoor air conditioning
  • Industrial Refrigeration
  • Commercial Refrigeration
  • Logistics and cold chain
  • Sustainable building
  • Automation and IoT

Each block will be headed by a technical referent of the Organizing Committee, ensuring the quality and relevance of the contents.

In line with a more inclusive vision, Expofrío will open space for the panel "The role of women in the development of the HVACR industry", where leaders of the sector will share their trajectories to inspire new generations and promote equity in technical and leadership areas.

As part of its culture of merit, the event will pay tribute to professionals who have made their mark on the sector:

  • Adán Cruz, general manager of Cold Import
  • Fernando Mejía, general manager of Termo Sistemas S.A.C
  • Manuel Azahuanche, engineering manager at Greencorp Perú S.A.C
  • Margot Venero, General Manager of Ventven
  • Daniel Obara, for his resilient leadership

This tribute follows the line of recognitions granted in the previous edition to six distinguished engineers.

Best HVACR Project Peru 2025 Award

As part of its commitment to excellence, the Best HVACR Peru 2025 Project Award will be launched, which will distinguish two outstanding projects in areas such as:

  • Indoor air conditioning
  • Industrial Refrigeration
  • Cold chain
  • Sustainable building
  • Automation

The evaluation committee, made up of experts from the sector, will select the most innovative works. Applications will be open until August 30, 2025

In addition to the Congress, the event will include:

  • Free Lectures
  • Product Launches
  • Specialized workshops
  • Raffles and networking dynamics

In times of technological transition, climate change and the evolution of refrigerants, Expofrío Peru 2025 is positioned as the key meeting point for those who are defining the future of the HVACR sector.
