Spain. A group of volunteer workers from the manufacturer of ventilation systems, Sodeca, have come together to create solidarity and help actions at this time that Spain is going through because of COVID-19.
The main action is the collection of funds to be able to make an economic contribution to the hospitals or health centers in the area, an initiative that is already bearing fruit and that has joined a large part of the workforce.
On the other hand, members of the R&D department have asked the company to make use of 3D printing resources, which they use to make prototypes, to be able to produce single-use nozzles for respirators, masks or goggles and donate them to hospitals in the area.
The company confirms that it cedes the 3D printing capacity for this solidarity cause and is very proud that these proposals appear by the Sodeca team in these complicated moments.
