Doria explained that the main objectives of the Island are to demonstrate the importance of the cold chain in food preservation and to highlight for visitors / buyers the potential of the cold storage market in Brazil, which grew on average by 26% per year between 2008 and 2014, according to the IARW (International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses), an entity that deals with storage and conservation in the international arena.
