Brazil. During the last Febrava, the company Armacell presented its entire portfolio of thermal insulators of the Armaflex line.
The company also participated in one of Febrava's activities related to innovation in the HVAC-R sector, including the Cold Chain Island, from which Armacell supplied thermal insulation and energy efficiency components of the installed equipment. La Isla was a didactic and interactive space that presented the most innovative in refrigeration, conservation, storage and transport of food, in order to liven up waste.
Food engineer and coordinator of cold chain island, Eduardo Dória, states that Armacell has a significant importance in this activity with the installation of its coating products in pipes and elsewhere in refrigeration systems. "Armacell insulators prevent heat exchange and energy loss. a in these systems," he said.
Doria explained that the main objectives of the Island are to demonstrate the importance of the cold chain in food preservation and to highlight for visitors / buyers the potential of the cold storage market in Brazil, which grew on average by 26% per year between 2008 and 2014, according to the IARW (International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses), an entity that deals with storage and conservation in the international arena.
