Brazil. This is Scout AI, Copeland's new tool. The new version of the Copeland Mobile app integrates artificial intelligence to speed up diagnoses, improve technical training and increase productivity in the field.
In line with the digital transformation of the HVACR sector, Copeland announced the launch of Scout AI, an intelligent chatbot integrated into its Copeland Mobile application, designed for technicians, distributors and equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This innovation marks a new step in the evolution of mobile technical support, offering personalized, real-time information directly from the workplace.
The app, which already has nearly 50,000 frequent users, provides immediate access to technical specifications, diagnostics, manuals, warranties and videos. Unlike an internet search, Scout AI delivers answers based exclusively on official Copeland sources.
"We are harnessing the power of digital transformation and AI to revolutionize the way our customers interact with our products and solutions," said Lisa Beasley, vice president of information technology at Copeland. "By offering intelligent and intuitive access to critical information and tools, we are empowering users to work more efficiently, solve problems faster, and drive success with precision and confidence."
The new version of the app also incorporates a scanning tool that recognizes Copeland – and competitor product nameplates to provide specifications, replacement suggestions and comprehensive technical documentation. In addition, the interface was revamped with shortcuts to features such as video tutorials, dealer locating, and cross-referencing.
This upgrade responds to the challenges faced by HVACR professionals, such as tight spaces, harsh weather conditions, demanding deadlines, and the transition to low-GWP refrigerants. Copeland seeks to offer modern tools that replace printed manuals, PDFs and technical service calls.
"Scout is self-taught, improves access to information and streamlines interactions to help technicians complete tasks more efficiently and accurately," the company highlights.
In addition, other tools such as Copeland Application Engineering and Fault Finder will be integrated into the app this summer, offering a more complete experience from a single mobile platform.
