Key construction players will gather at Expocamacol 2024

Actores clave de la construcción se congregarán en Expocamacol 2024

Colombia. ACR Latinoamerica will be at the international event to be held between August 21 and 24 at the Plaza Mayor fairgrounds, located in Medellín.

This year, Expocamacol will have 500 national and international exhibitors from 20 countries and will have Brazil as a special guest. It will be a fair in which visitors will find topics of innovation, business and a complete academic agenda. The activities include business roundtables, demonstrations and the fifth version of the Innovation Showcase.

This event will bring together the business and professional sector of the construction production chain, offering a comprehensive platform for product exhibition, business opportunities and updating. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and products in the global market, establishing key business contacts for the growth of their businesses.

The academic component of Expocamacol 2024 includes an agenda that includes meetings with mayors of the capitals of 22 departments of the country in which CAMACOL has a presence, the Technical Meeting of Construction - ETC, discussions, talks and guided tours of architectural landmarks in Medellín such as the Argos Innovation Center and Green Infrastructure of the city. These spaces for continuous training are ideal for the exchange of ideas and the inspiration for new solutions to the challenges of the sector.

The Fair will also feature dedicated spaces for conferences, demonstrations and product launches, providing a platform for companies to showcase their latest innovations. The fifth version of the Innovation Showcase will highlight the most innovative proposals selected by a committee of experts, offering special recognition to the most outstanding initiatives at the awards event.

The business roundtables, organized with the support of ProColombia, the Medellín Chamber of Commerce for Antioquia and the Sustainable Habitat Cluster, will facilitate the creation of strategic alliances and the expansion of markets, offering a unique opportunity to boost business growth. The Fair, distributed in 11 sectored pavilions, is designed to facilitate the tour of visitors and maximize their experience. Each pavilion will be organized by specific sectors, allowing attendees to easily find what they are looking for and explore new areas of interest.

Brazil, as a special guest country, will have a significant participation with an outstanding presence of entrepreneurs and experts who will enrich the academic agenda and showcase industry innovations. This collaboration underscores the importance of Colombia as a benchmark for the construction industry in the region.

A highlight of Expocamacol 2024 is its commitment to sustainability. The Fair will promote practices, products and technologies that foster sustainable development, from the exhibition of innovative materials to the presentation of eco-efficient design and construction strategies. This approach reflects the growing importance of sustainability in the construction industry and its positive impact on the environment.

Within the framework of the Fair, there will also be international guests who will bring a global perspective to the topics discussed. Among them are Levi Torres, a specialist in construction waste recycling with 14 years of experience, and Alexandre Almeida Del Savio, a specialist in productivity, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Expocamacol 2024 is not just a Fair, it is a comprehensive experience that seeks to build opportunities, strengthen relationships and offer an updated vision of the global panorama of construction, engineering, architecture and design.
