Giovanni Barletta is re-elected president of Acaire

Giovanni Barletta es reelegido presidente de Acaire

Colombia. For the eighth time in a row, Barletta received the backing of Acaire's Board of Directors, which backed him with a 100% acceptance vote.

"It has been a unanimous endorsement of the Board of Directors, in which there are a good number of new members who joined the majority during the vote. I am pleased because we have had a year of many achievements, including the Cartagena fair, ExpoAcaire, which represented a milestone due to the record number of visitors and the alliances we made," said the re-elected president.

The executive also made a positive balance of events such as the regional fair recently held in the border city of Cúcuta, which had an important presence of industry professionals, from Colombia and Venezuela.

"Another achievement was that on December 29, the Regulation of Thermal Installations (RETSIT) was signed, which is now in the implementation stage and constitutes the genesis of many changes in the sector, since many activities that until now have been in the informal sector are regularized and standardized. Our strategic plan for the next five years was also reviewed, updating it with the new market expectations," Barletta detailed.
