Sodeca presented, within the framework of the SICUR 2022 fair, in Madrid, solutions for the evacuation of fumes in cold rooms, with motorized gates and extractors for the evacuation of fumes. A solution approved according to EN 12101-3, test 21/32306-460 with gate and extractor for the evacuation of fumes.
This solution stands out for its tightness and insulation, for being suitable for cold and frozen chambers, its high insulation and for being a set approved according to EN 12101-3. A gate that in combination with SODECA extractors is suitable for the evacuation of fumes in different types of facilities.
Characteristics
The main characteristics of the FRIDGE/FLAP gates for installation in cold rooms are:
• Tightness: High performance of tightness and insulation, thanks to the perimeter joint of double air chamber, a Class D tightness is achieved, according to EN 12207.
• Installation: suitable for temperatures down to -28ºc
• Reliability: Operational reliability exceeding 11,000 cycles with an opening and closing time of 30 seconds.
• Opening: A motorized opening system with manual opening system in case of breakdown (Utility model ES 1 259 375 U) and a chain actuator with a reliable operation.
• Signaling: end of stroke with voltage-free contacts for open or closed door monitoring.
• Insulation: The mobile sheet is manufactured in lacquered steel sheet with expanded polyurethane and injected in class B press according to UNE-EN 13501, with a total insulation thickness of 90mm. The perimeter profiles of both the movable sheet and the fixed frame are made of aluminum and have thermal bridge breakage.
• Antifreeze: the frame has a perimeter heating resistance of 40w/m that prevents the formation of ice.
