Colombia. The Pontifical Bolivarian University of Medellín will organize from April 13 to the first of June a basic course on air conditioning and refrigeration.
Aimed at engineers, maintenance managers, plant managers, technicians and operators of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, the course seeks to train and update participants on the correct installation of equipment, the detection of failures and the performance of adequate maintenance.
Among the topics that will be handled, aspects such as basic concepts of air conditioning, psychometry and refrigeration stand out; selection of refrigerants from the technical and environmental safety point of view; calculation of thermal loads; design and selection of equipment; mechanical ventilation and pumping assemblies; electrical infrastructure and control systems for air conditioning and refrigeration installations.
