Participate in the virtual meeting Efficient Refrigeration in Cold Chain

Refrigeración Eficiente en Cold ChainLatin America. From August 4 to 6, the educational meeting Efficient Refrigeration in Cold Chain will be held virtually, organized by the GCCA (Global Cold Chain Alliance) and IIAR (International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration).

The low temperature required by vaccines to combat this global pandemic for their correct conservation has made the planet aware as never before, about the strategic importance of having an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly cold chain. In the same way the food industry was considered essential during this time, so bringing safe and innocuous food to the table of consumers is a priority, a strong and safe cold chain guarantees the fulfillment of both challenges.

Training and training the different components of this chain to be up to that challenge and respond to demand by complying with standards and norms is a challenge.

For this reason, GCCA and IIAR have formed an alliance combining experience and knowledge to be able to provide an educational proposal with important topics on the best safety practices with natural refrigerants and raise awareness about the importance of establishing a safe cold chain using natural refrigerants in tune with the environment.

This virtual meeting has days of four hours a day. It is aimed at professionals from different areas such as: Operations Managers, Warehouse Managers, Maintenance and Equipment Managers, a total of 9 courses taught by international expert instructors will be offered. And a certificate of attendance and training will be awarded to students who complete the 9 lectures.

Objectives of the meeting:
• Receive comprehensive training in the use and application of ammonia and other natural refrigerants.
• Learn about critical points in the use of natural refrigerants.
• Improve the safety and operational efficiency of ammonia cooling systems
• Learn about cold chain culture
• Improve the experience in the specialty area.
• Belong to a business network with industry colleagues

The technical program
It has been carefully selected based on the current needs of our industry and covers topics such as Existing Practices and Standards Applicable to Refrigeration Systems; Management of Critical Control Points in the Facilities; Mechanical Integrity for Ammonia Refrigeration Systems; Cost optimization in the use of natural refrigerants; Refrigeration using CO2 systems to cite some examples. Our staff of international speakers add years of experience in the natural refrigeration industry and the cold chain so we do not doubt that it will be a display of knowledge in favor of the attendees.

Global manufacturers, important contractors in the region, a training center and one of the most influential magazines in the industry in Latin America, sponsor this educational effort to understand that the main actor to achieve the goal of having an increasingly safe, efficient and environmentally friendly cold chain is the end user of these systems, to whom this event is oriented.

For all the above, we are convinced that "Efficient Refrigeration in Cold Chain, An educational meeting of natural refrigeration", will be the formative event of the year in Spanish and will mark the successful beginning of this powerful synergy between these two organizations recognized worldwide.
