Latin America. The One Roche Costa Rica Campus Project has been chosen as the winner of the CALA Awards for the Best HVAC/R Project in Latin America, awarded by ACR Latinoamerica, in a ceremony held within the framework of Refriaméricas Miami on July 24.
This project was carried out by the contractor companies of Costa Rica, MultiFRIO and Refrigeration and Refrigeration Solutions (RSF). Representing the companies were engineers Jocksan Watson, Project Manager of MultiFRIO, and Lisandro Salas, CEO of RSF, who received the recognition granted by Max Jaramillo, Director of Latin Press, and Duván Chaverra, Editorial Chief of ACR Latinoamerica.
The other finalist projects were:
* Dismec SAS. Project Name: Central Point Stage II, Bogotá – Colombia.
* Express Air Conditioning: Project Name: Brembo Expansión Tequila, Monterrey, Mexico.
* Flutec: Project Name: Wiwynn Test Room, Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
Description of the Winning Project
The type of HVAC and industrial refrigeration installation for the ONE Roche Costa Rica Campus is high-tech, focused on energy efficiency, sustainability and safety, using advanced equipment and intelligent control systems. The markings used in the project ensure optimal performance and reliability in the operation of the building.
