In some countries, new construction systems are being implemented aimed at reducing energy consumption and respecting the environment.
It consists of passing before entering the house, part of the fresh air renewed through pipes buried in the ground at a depth of approximately 1 to 2 meters. In winter, the soil at this depth is warmer than the outside temperature: the cold air is previously heated during its passage through the pipes. With this system, the air
Europe. Optimizing the use of natural refrigerant carbon dioxide was the main topic eurammon focused on to present the eurammon natural refrigeration award in 2009.
The first prize was won by Julia Mildenberger of the Technical University of Braunschweig and her thesis on R744 "two phases of natural circulation for the defrosting of the heat pump". As part of his study, Mildenberger talks about a new and more efficient energy method for defrosting carbon dioxide that works with the heat pump evaporator.
The second award was presented to Samer Sawalha of the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm for his thesis "Carbon dioxide in supermarket refrigeration".
The third winner was Stefan Elbel of the University of Illinois, with his theme "the experimental and analytical research of a two-phase ejector used for the recovery of work expansion in a transcritical R744 air in an air conditioning system".
Monika Witt, president of eurammon, explained that the fact that the three winners had investigated different aspects of carbon dioxide is a breakthrough in the industry, which seeks to take advantage of the potential of this refrigerant.
Next Friday, October 1, the National Confederation of Installers (CNI), celebrates its National Meeting of Installers with the central theme energy efficiency and use of renewable energies, as well as the reconversion of the installer into an energy advisor.
The lectures will be followed by a lunch and a guided technical tour of the geothermal drilling of the Cantoblanco Hospital in Madrid.
Trox Spain organizes between the months of October and November of this year a technological conference, as a forum for discussion, under relaxed and conducive environments to share experiences and knowledge, where air conditioning projects will be addressed in facilities, focused exclusively on air treatment units.
