Dominican Republic. With total success, ACR Latin America, organizer of Refriaméricas, was present on May 6 and 7 in Santo Domingo in order to carry out a series of visits with important entities in this country, and in the same way, to hold the launch cocktail that officially announced the capital of this country as the venue for the fair for the year 2025.
The visits, made by the President of Latin Press, Max Jaramillo, and by the Project Manager of Refriaméricas, Fabio Giraldo, included places such as the Ministry of the Environment, where they were received by a delegation led by its Deputy Minister, Indhira De Jesus.

In addition, they had the opportunity to visit some companies in the industry, as well as members of the Dominican Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians (ADOMTRA), headed by its president, Juan Luis Gutiérrez, and the Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioner Importers (AIRA).
The launch cocktail, which was supported by ADOMTRA, was held at the Real Intercontinental Hotel and welcomed more than 90 professionals from the local HVAC/R industry.
Precisely, ADOMTRA, through a letter to its directors, communicated the following about the launch: "I am pleased to inform you that the launch of Refriaméricas RD was a success. 94 people from all regions of the country attended, exceeding our expectations. We are grateful for the presence of each of you, which marks a historic milestone for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry in our association and in the country."
Meanwhile, Fabio Giraldo, said about this experience that "we are very happy with the support and reception that the entire guild gave us in the Dominican Republic. We saw that there is an enormous quality of companies and government entities and associations that are surely going to generate an excellent event for us. We know that Santo Domingo is a very important city for the HVAC/R market, both locally and for other Caribbean countries; This was something that we identified together with the advice of experts in the guild, and that is why we are sure that the event will be a success in 2025."
Refriaméricas 2025 will be held at the Sansouci Event Center on July 24 and 25.
