The new Anybus modules provide immediate and secure connectivity to facilitate the communication of your soft starters to BMS control systems in HVAC applications.
These new Anybus modules can be used in ABB PSTX soft starters from 10 to 500 Hp in 220/240 Vac and 20 to 1000 Hp in 440/460 Vac
BACnet
The BACnet (Building Automation and Control) protocol is mainly used in HVAC products. Soft starters are frequently used in infrastructure applications and we are pioneers in offering a starter that can be communicated via Bacnet, without any additional protocol converter. The Anybus communication module has a robust security system that prevents the unauthorized download of malicious software to the module. Additionally, encryption is used to prevent illicit copies of information.
Anybus communication modules can be quickly installed and configured on ABB PSTX soft starters, through the port designed for these devices.
