Panama. On September 3, 2024, the Central American Section of ASHRAE held an event in Panama City. It brought together members, professionals from the sector, engineers and industry experts to address a crucial issue today: indoor air quality.
The event was attended by the president of the ASHRAE Central America Section, José Luis Urrutia Borrero, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of this event type of activities for the professional community of the region.
The conference was given by Raúl Contreras, Belimo's Regional Application Consultant for Latin America and a recognized expert in building automation and indoor air quality. During his presentation, Contreras shared the latest regulations, guides and strategies to ensure the correct implementation of systems that ensure air quality in indoor spaces.
