Keyter alianza para la FP Dual

Spain. Keyter Intarcon Genaq officially joined the alliance for Dual Vocational Training FP, which promotes the value of professionalization, allowing young people to acquire knowledge that improves their employability in the Spanish territory.

Keyter Intarcon Genaq celebrated this accession at its headquarters in Lucena, where it ratified its commitment to training, which has as its context the Dual VET projects that it has developed since 2018 with educational centers in Granada, Córdoba, Jaén and Alicante, with a rate of incorporation of students from said Vocational Training (FP) of more than 80%.

During the accession ceremony, Manuel Izquierdo, director of human resources of the group, stressed that the experience with Dual Vocational Training has facilitated education for the world of work. He also explained that Dual Vocational Training goes a step beyond traditional VET, as it allows them to train their students in the real needs, both of the company and the sector, adapting the training contents.

That is, the entity finds multiple benefits in Dual Vocational Training, among which it stands out that it allows young people to greatly improve their employability, since they acquire diverse skills to join the labor market after their training. In addition, the student registers with the Social Security and receives remuneration, which is attractive and motivating.

However, the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training is an initiative promoted since 2015 by the Bertelsmann Foundation, the Princess of Girona Foundation, the CEOE and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. In this sense, it is configured as a state network of more than 1,500 companies, educational centers and institutions, which aims to promote the development of quality Dual Vocational Training in Spain.

Ignacio de Benito, senior project manager of the Bertelsmann Foundation, stressed during the event the importance of companies such as Keyter Intarcon Genaq betting on this training modality and having a high rate of incorporation of young people who complete this training in the company.

To conclude, it is worth mentioning that Keyter Intarcon Genaq considers that this adhesion allows them to advance in the planning and development of the Dual VET of their environment, providing a network of work that will help them to professionalize the programs they have developed, through the good practices of other companies and affiliated centers.
