Greenbuild Congress confirms dates for 2019 in Mexico

Mexico. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), confirmed that the Greenbuild Congress will be held again in Mexico City on June 18 and 19, 2019, at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma Hotel.

Greenbuild Mexico will be held in conjunction with Sustainability for Mexico A.C. (SUMe).

"By bringing the Greenbuild Congress back to Mexico City, we continue to build on the important talks and connections that were made at last year's Inaugural Conference," said Mahesh Ramanujam, President and CEO of USGBC and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). "It is time to reflect on the innovative work done in the past year across the region and recognize the efforts of architects, developers, consultants, policymakers and other actors, who are creating new opportunities to advance the sustainable construction movement and improve lives."

Last year, in its inaugural edition, Greenbuild Mexico highlighted the importance of this type of Conference in the Latin American Region. "Mexico is a leader in many areas and Sustainable Building is no exception. Undoubtedly, this event helps us to continue the conversations around this important issue, to generate advances, produce results and show them to the market," said Alejandra Cabrera, CEO of SUMe.
