Colombia. A study conducted by Yale and Columbia Universities, which evaluated the environmental policies of 150 countries in the world, revealed that Colombia is the ninth country with the best formulation of programs aimed at controlling the effects of climate change.
In the document, Colombia's work in several fields was highlighted: sanitation and coverage of drinking water, care for biodiversity and control of the effects of global warming. "We are on the right track in the formulation and implementation of environmental policy in Colombia," said Environment Minister Juan Lozano Ramírez.
